2021 GSK IMPACT Awards: The Wish Centre

Every year, 1.6 million women are reported to have experienced domestic abuse in the UK, with only 18% of cases ever reported to the police. The Wish Centre takes a holistic whole-family approach to tackling domestic abuse by providing refuge accommodation and specialist services for women, children and perpetrators of violence in order to stop the cycle of domestic abuse for good.
