The Streetwise Young People's Project

The Streetwise Young People's Project works to support young people of all backgrounds in Tyneside, covering sexual health, drug and alcohol issues and mental health. The charity was the overall winner of the GSK IMPACT Awards in 2009.

The Infertility Network

The Infertility Network raises the profile of infertility issues nationally, enabling those affected to make informed decisions and supporting them throughout the infertility process.

The Junction

The Junction offers open access and referred health programmes to 12-21 year olds in North-East Edinburgh, targeting the most disadvantaged and hard to reach.

The Multiple Sclerosis Centre

The Multiple Sclerosis Centre, Mid Argyll, promotes a proactive approach to living with MS and providing specialist support and activities to sufferers in an isolated rural area of Scotland.

The Paul Sartori Foundation

The Paul Sartori Foundation provides home nursing care services for people at the end of their life and support for their families in Pembrokeshire.

Straight Talking Peer Education

Straight Talking Peer Education presents the realities of pregnancy and parenting to teenagers, through interactive peer education.

Unique

Unique, the Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group, supports and informs families of children with chromosome disorders in the UK and internationally, building the only database of its kind in the world to detail the lifetime effects of these disorders. They were awarded a GSK IMPACT Award in 2009.

Unique received an unrestricted donation of £25,000 plus places for two people to take part in the IMPACT Awards Development Network training course.
