2026 GSK IMPACT Awards: Happy Baby Community

Happy Baby Community transforms lives for pregnant women and new mothers who have fled war, trafficking and violence to seek safety for themselves and their babies, by creating a sanctuary across Greater London and the South East where they and their babies can truly thrive.

‘Happy Baby Community does outstanding work to tackle inequalities in maternal health by providing safe, culturally appropriate perinatal care and emotional support to the communities it serves. Services provided by the charity reduce isolation, strengthen maternal confidence and improve the wellbeing of children and mothers. The charity is a trusted partner of local healthcare services, bridging crucial gaps in care for pregnant asylum-seeking women and children.
