This quarter's report aims to take stock of how the NHS is performing, 18 months into the Nicholson Challenge.
The report finds that NHS performance is continuing to hold up well, but there is concern that quality of care may suffer as financial pressures bite from next year.
This is the sixth quarterly monitoring report produced by the Fund as we aim to provide a regular update on how the NHS is coping as it continues to grapple with the £20billion productivity challenge while implementing the government’s NHS reforms. It is a continuation of our work to assess, analyse and report on the performance of the NHS.
