We spoke to Michael West, Visiting Fellow at The King's Fund about why compassion is key to looking after colleagues in the health and care system during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He told us that how staff work together has a significant impact on wellbeing at work, and that good relationships, comradery and compassion are essential to providing social support.
Michael also stressed the importance of being kind to one another and the role of self-compassion during this time.
