Our commission has been assessing the leadership and management needs of the NHS for the past nine months.

There is significant evidence that good leadership has a positive effect on organisational performance; at a time of great pressure in the NHS, leadership is critically important.

Using feedback from a number of experienced NHS leaders, Chris Roebuck reviews past NHS leadership development and identifies leadership development options from the commercial sector that would benefit the NHS.
