A poster by Professor Glenn Robert, National Nursing Research Unit, and Dr Jocelyn Cornwell, The King’s Fund, has won the best research poster prize at the ‘International Society for Quality in Health Care’ (ISQua) 29th International Conference in Geneva (21-24 October 2012).
300 posters were submitted during the conference, which was attended by over 1,000 delegates from 70 countries. The poster reports on research carried out on behalf of the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement and the Department of Health to explore ‘what matters most’ to patients and the implications for the design of future approaches to measuring patient experience.
The results of the research project have been used to underpin a new Transforming Patient Experience guide, which was launched by the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement in February 2012.
