Dr Stephanie Kuku is a health technology director, a senior consultant at Hardian Health and a senior adviser and consultant at the World Health Organization’s Department of Digital Health and Innovation.
She completed her medical degree at University of Bristol, and was awarded a doctorate in clinical research (oncology) from University College London, where she remains an honorary senior research fellow at the Institute of Women's Health. Stephanie is the Healthcare Lead for Women in AI and is a co-investigator on the NHSX's NHS AI Lab Artificial Intelligence and Racial and Ethnic Inequalities in Health and Care project.
She sits on the advisory boards of Spex Capital, London, and the Special Situations Fund, New York.
During her clinical career she sat on the council of the British Gynaecological Cancer Society and was awarded international travelling fellowships from the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Centre, US; Cancer Hospital Pernambuco, Brazil; and Centre du Cancer Oscar Lambret, France.
