Paula left the Fund in 2021.
Paula was a senior fellow at The King's Fund where her work focused on clinical and professional leadership and provider collaboratives. She is passionate about people working in healthy organisational and system cultures in support of the improved delivery of health and care.
Paula is an experienced chief executive and before joining The King's Fund had been chief executive at University Hospital Southampton, at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust and at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust. In other roles in the NHS she has worked as executive lead for two cancer alliances; been a director of transformation in acute services and worked as a director of commissioning in primary care trusts. She started her career as a pharmacist and operational manager.
