Mathew Thomson
Director of the Centre for the History of Medicine, University of WarwickProfessor Mathew Thomson is Director of the Centre for the History of Medicine and Professor for the Department of History at the University of Warwick.
His research on the cultural history of the NHS is supported by a Wellcome Trust Investigator Award and involves collaboration with co-investigator Professor Roberta Bivins and a team of researchers. One of the aims of the project has been to investigate the history of a relationship between the NHS and the public.
