Loreen joined The King’s Fund in 2022 as a research assistant in the policy directorate, and she became a researcher in October 2022. Her interests lie in how intersectional approaches are employed in implementing policies and addressing health inequalities. She is also interested in how voices of marginalised communities can be brought to the fore of social policy and practice, with a focus on using research methods that are inclusive.
Loreen is an academic who has taught in social science disciplines of sociology and psychology over the past 10 years. She has also worked with various statutory and voluntary, community and faith organisations on addressing inequalities in policy and practice.
