Strategic Lead for Organisational Development and System Leadership, Greater Manchester Health and Social Care PartnershipJohn is the Strategic Lead for Organisational Development and System Leadership in the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership and spends his time working on culture, leadership, equality and inclusion across public services in Greater Manchester. Key to his role has been addressing the leadership and cultural challenges of implementing the GM Mayor’s vision for a One Workforce approach to public services across the Greater Manchester devolved region. John also leads on the commitment across Greater Manchester public services in addressing Race Equality across the workforce, and commissioned the work to create change in experience and outcome for BAME people in public services – this was the first project of its kind in the UK.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, John was redeployed as the Deputy Director of Workforce for NHS Nightingale North West. He worked on key areas in regard to recruitment, induction, culture and health and wellbeing of the staff and patients.
