Jo leads the business and operational side of the Leadership and Organisational Development team and is passionate about working with teams and organisations to support how they develop and support their staff to deliver high quality care.
Before joining The King’s Fund in 2019, Jo worked at NHS Improvement as the joint National Programme Director for the design and delivery of the first national framework for improvement and leadership development in England (2016). Alongside this, Jo managed a portfolio of programmes including the development of resources to support culture change in provider organisations. Jo has worked in various sectors over her career, including commercial, charity and the public sector (education, health and social care). Over the past 18 years she has worked with policy and development teams at a national level to support capability building across the education sector and the NHS.
Jo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Social Psychology and a postgraduate diploma.
