Jo Maybin
Former Policy Fellow.Jo Maybin has now left the Fund.
Jo Maybin is a Fellow in the policy team. She draws on skills in qualitative research and coaching to support health and care teams experiment with new ways of working to improve staff and community experiences of care.
In 2020 she co-developed The King’s Fund’s ‘Leading through Covid’ series of leadership resources for the health and care system. She is currently the learning lead for Healthy Communities Together, a four-year collaboration with the National Lottery Community Fund to support local partnership working.
Jo has degrees in social and political sciences from King’s College Cambridge and the London School of Economics, and a PhD from the University of Edinburgh. Her first book, Producing health policy, was published in 2016 and draws on ethnographic research conducted inside England’s Department of Health.
She previously worked as a social affairs analyst for BBC News.
