Jessica Holden

Policy Adviser Communications

Jessica left The King's Fund in June 2025.

Jessica worked in the responsive policy team, which works to influence decision-makers to improve health and care for everyone in England.

Before joining the Fund in 2023, Jessica worked as a policy adviser at the Royal College of Nursing, where she led on nursing workforce policy, developing positions and recommendations on nursing recruitment and retention in England. She also held a policy and public affairs role at Stonewall where she focused on building political relationships and influencing decision-makers. She spent two years working for an MP, after originally starting her career as a mental health nurse. She holds a nursing degree and an MSc in political sociology from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
