Hilary Cottam

Hilary is an internationally acclaimed social entrepreneur whose work in communities around the world focuses on collaborative, affordable solutions to 21st century challenges: good work, care and health. Transformation is achieved through approaches that emphasise human relationships supported by technology.

Hilary is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and was named UK Designer of the Year in 2005 for her pioneering work founding the practice of social design. Educated at Oxford, Sussex and the Open University, Hilary holds a PhD in social sciences. Her first book Radical Help was published in June 2018.
