Ewan is Chief Executive at Shared Lives Plus, the UK Charity which represents the shared living sector, and is Deputy Director for Policy Embedding at IMPACT (Improving Adult Care Together), the UK centre for implementing evidence in adult social care.

Before joining Shared Lives Plus, he was Deputy Chief Executive at the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE), a charity that identifies and promotes good practice in adults and children’s social care.
