Emma joined The King's Fund in February 2024 as a researcher in the Policy team. She has a background in psychological and mental health research, and enjoys using high-quality research and evidence to create positive impacts in health and social care.
Emma previously worked at the Centre for Evidence and Implementation on a range of large-scale implementation, impact and feasibility evaluations, covering topics around children’s social care, education, youth justice, and participatory research with marginalised young people. She has worked with vulnerable young people on a range of projects, involving them in research to produce evidence grounded in lived experience.
Previously, Emma was a business developer for a Dutch e-mental health platform, supporting their move to the UK. She has an MSc in Developmental and Health Psychology from the University of Amsterdam, where she also worked as a research assistant.
