Dr Jane Collins

Dr Jane Collins qualified in medicine at Birmingham University. In 2019 Jane became a non-executive director at University College Hospital London. She is also a non-executive director and Vice-Chair on the Board of The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

Previously, Jane was Chief Executive of Marie Curie from 2012 to 2019. While at Marie Curie she held a number of external roles, including co-chair of the Ambitions in End of Life Care Group; and member of the Cicely Saunders Institute Advisory Council, the Palliative Care Leadership Network and the HELIX Centre of End of Life Care Steering Committee. Jane was also Chair of the London Clinical Senate until January 2018.

Jane joined Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, in 1994 and became Chief Executive of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Chief Executive of GOSH Children's Charity in 2001. Before that Jane was a consultant paediatric neurologist at Guy's Hospital, London.

She is an honorary fellow of UCL and of the Institute of Child Health, UCL.
