Cheryl Gowar is a researcher in the Policy team at The King’s Fund. She works across a range of issues related to health and care and is particularly interested in public health and the structural response to health inequalities.
Before joining The King’s Fund, Cheryl was involved in policy and campaigns work for the National AIDS Trust and Disability Rights UK. She was also a member of Involve and has considerable experience in patient and public involvement, and building participation of people with lived experience into the research process. She has a PhD from Rutgers University in the USA.
