Progress continues to be slow in implementing reconfigurations which are essential to improve quality and have the potential to make financial savings.
With the challenges of the forthcoming winter and a growing number of providers struggling to meet accident and emergency waiting time targets, it is looking increasingly possible that the Nicholson Challenge will not be met.
