So which characteristics are fundamental to a healthy culture? Completed project Pressures in general practice This project aims to increase our understanding of the workload in general practice and why GPs report feeling under so much pressure, and to make recommendations about what might be done. Active project Quarterly monitoring report (QMR) How is the NHS performing? Our quarterly monitoring reports provide a regular update on how the NHS in England is performing. We examine the views of finance directors on the productivity challenge they face, as well as key NHS performance data. Completed project Quality in community health services The project explored how providers of community health services in England are monitoring, managing and improving the quality of their services. Completed project Specialists working in out-of-hospital settings This project looked at new models of service provision in which specialists deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, care outside of the traditional hospital setting. Completed project Vision for volunteering in health This project looked at the role, size, scope and value of volunteering in the health and social care sector, and at how the health reforms will impact on volunteering.
