Sally Warren announced as new Director of Policy at The King’s Fund

Sally Warren, current Director of EU Exit Preparedness and Response at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, has been appointed as the new Director of Policy at The King’s Fund. The previous Director of Policy, Richard Murray, took office as Chief Executive of the health think tank earlier this year.

Sally has extensive experience of health and care, having previously held positions at the Department of Health and Social Care, Public Health England, the Care Quality Commission and the Cabinet Office.

Commenting on Sally’s appointment, Richard Murray, Chief Executive of The King’s Fund, said:

‘I am thrilled that Sally will be joining The King’s Fund as Director of Policy. She brings an impressive breadth of experience having previously worked across public health, social care, and the NHS. Sally’s deep understanding of the health and care system will be a valuable asset for The King’s Fund as we develop and deliver our new five-year strategy.’

Sally Warren’s biography
Sally is currently the Director of EU Exit Preparedness and Response at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Prior to this, Sally gained extensive experience leading policy and delivery of health and social care. Her previous roles include Director of Social Care Policy at the Department of Health and Social Care, Director of Programmes at Public Health England, Deputy Chief Inspector for Adult Social Care at the Care Quality Commission and Director of the Cabinet Office’s adult social care project for Budget 2017.
