The King's Fund appoints new Director of Leadership Development

The King’s Fund has appointed a new Director of Leadership Development. Marcus Powell will join the Fund in 2016 from Nuffield Health where he is currently Group Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development.

Prior to his current role, Marcus spent five years as part of the leadership team at Ashridge Consulting, a division of the leading Ashridge business school, where he worked with a broad range of both public and private sector clients.

Marcus started his career at Marks and Spencer where, by the time he left, he was responsible for learning and organisational development for a workforce of more than 75,000.

Chris Ham, Chief Executive at The King’s Fund, commented on the appointment:
