Teamworking across multiple organisations

This content relates to the following topics:

Roundtable discussions

As health and care organisations work to develop better ways to deliver joined-up services for patients and citizens, teamworking across sectors and organisations is more important than ever.

Success depends on developing relationships, trust and support, and growing an understanding of the whole picture. Integrated care systems (ICSs) and primary care networks (PCNs) are creating frameworks to encourage collaborative working to solve local issues; this can present a whole range of new and different challenges.

At this event you will:

  • hear about some of the principles underpinning effective teamworking within and across organisations in health and care
  • learn from examples of good practice in health and care organisations
  • discover different team models that encourage better team cohesion in complex, safety critical  environments.
