Re-imagining general practice: innovative ways of delivering care

This content relates to the following topics:

This event will focus on innovative ways of delivering primary care to patients that could help to address the staffing, demand, and workload pressures facing general practice.

Come and learn about evidence-based examples of care delivery that are successfully tackling the challenges facing general practice in the United Kingdom.

Examples will come from here and abroad. You’ll learn about what they did, the pros and cons of each model, and how you can apply the lessons to your own situation.

You’ll hear about:

  • models that use multidisciplinary teams to provide primary care
  • segmentation approaches that are designed to address the needs of specific groups in your population
  • community-centred models that increase accessibility, integrate care services, and focus on improving people’s health and wellbeing.

General practice will need to change how it operates if it is to meet the increasing demands being placed on it. Register today to learn how it can do this.
