About this event

The NHS five year forward view made a commitment that, by 2020, there would be “fully interoperable electronic health records so that patient’s records are paperless”.

As part of the plans to realise that ambition, local health and care systems had to produce Local Digital Roadmaps (LDR) by 30 June 2016, setting out how their plans to achieve the ambition of ‘paper-free at the point of care’ by 2020.

During this online event we heard from NHS England on the progress of the paperless agenda. North West Surrey footprint LDR also outlined their approach to bringing together multiple organisations to share information across Surrey, and the benefits that they plan to realise.
