The level of ‘churn’ at senior levels of the NHS is a key issue affecting leadership across the service.

Eighteen months on from the publication of the Developing people – improving care framework, with the challenges facing NHS leaders greater than ever and a number of senior figures having left the service, it is a good time to take stock of these issues and discuss how to ensure the NHS is able to recruit and retain the leaders it needs.

This online event explored findings from our report on leadership vacancies in the NHS and its implications for recruiting and retaining senior NHS leaders.
