More about the top manager programme

This programme aims to give senior executives the skills and confidence necessary for effective leadership in the face of unparalleled demands in today’s health service. Independent and tailored, this programme gives participants time to reflect and learn outside the‘goldfish bowl’ of their local area – so there is more time and space to do really in-depth work on their leadership style. With a good mix of managers and clinicians it’s a unique opportunity to work with people of a different mindset.

I am an Alumni of the King's Fund. Back in 1985-86 it was called Corporate Management Programme (Gordon Best as Director and Barbara Stocking coordinating). Great teachers and wonderful colleagues in the group. A privilege to be part of such a learning experience.

As a new graduate form TMP 2013 I cannot commend this course highly enough! It gave me the space to think challenge and be challenged about old style of thinking communicating and connecting. I have a different approach to the my future development and influencing the culture of the organisation . Just wish it went on forever but as Anne says the connections continue .
