Rt Hon Paul Burstow MP, Former Minister of State for Care Services, shares his vision of the health and social care system of the future. Key to this is collaborative leadership across the NHS and local government, and a cultural shift so that the health and social care system is less about transactions and more about relationships. It is also important to work towards combining physical, psychological and social interventions in a more effective way.
