Celia Ingham Clark, Medical Director Revalidation and Quality, NHS England, spoke at our recent medical leadership network event. She considered the challenges facing leaders in the NHS, including seven-day services, accident and emergency pressures and the integration of care, particularly in the context of last year's Francis and Berwick reports. She also stressed that while these challenges do pose difficulties for leaders, they also represent opportunities to make significant and necessary changes to the NHS.
