2020 GSK IMPACT Awards: New Pathways

New Pathways offers counselling, advocacy and support services to women, men, children and young people in South, West and Mid Wales. It provides immediate help and support for people who have been raped or sexually assaulted and is open 24 hours every day of the year, with crisis support workers available within an hour, day or night.

'New Pathways does incredible work to support the rising numbers of victims and survivors of rape and sexual abuse, helping thousands of people across Wales every year. Staff and volunteers have also made commendable efforts to reach people that are less likely to speak out. We were struck by the scale of the charity’s long-term commitment to helping people across the country, including helping to train the next generation of trauma counsellors.'
