Peter is an independent consultant with more than 20 years' experience of leadership and organisation development primarily focused on health and social care. He is co-director of Flaherty Mumford Associates Ltd, an associate fellow at The King's Fund, visiting lecturer at Brighton and Sussex Medical School and honorary lecturer at City University.
He holds an MBA from the Cranfield Institute of Technology and membership of the CIPD. He was a fellow at The King's Fund for 10 years from 1987, and non-executive director at St George’s Hospital Tooting from 1996-1999.
Peter is a trained and very experienced coach who works with mid-career professionals: chief executives and directors, medical and clinical directors, senior academics and senior partners in general practice. He also coaches senior executives and lawyers in the private sector.
He works with clinical teams in acute hospitals and general practice partnerships on productive relationships, equipping teams and partnerships to make the most of each other's skills, and better manage operational roles and strategy.
Peter has many years of experience in developing and directing single and multi-professional, tailored leadership programmes in health and social care.
