Kane joined the policy team at The King’s Fund in September 2017 for a two-month placement as part of the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme. While at the Fund, Kane has co-authored a briefing on the rising pharmaceuticals expenditure and written an accompanying blog.
For his first graduate scheme placement, Kane worked as a project manager at Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group. He will be working in the surgical division at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust for his final placement.
Kane is currently studying for a postgraduate diploma in health care leadership with the University of Birmingham. He has a BSc in biomedical sciences from the University of Southampton.
