Francesca joined The King's Fund in February 2009, and researches contemporary NHS policy issues using large national datasets and national surveys.
Since joining The King’s Fund, Francesca has worked in a number of areas including choice and competition and variation in health care. More recently, Francesca has been working on public health-related issues using survey data to explore inequalities in the clustering of multiple lifestyle factors.
Francesca holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Robert F Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University. She previously worked as a research fellow at Royal Holloway University of London where she conducted research on the impact of decentralisation and incentives in the NHS.
