Francesca joined The King's Fund in February 2009, and is currently researching contemporary NHS policy issues using large national datasets and national surveys.
Since joining The King’s Fund, Francesca has worked in a number of areas including choice and competition and variation in health care. More recently, Francesca has been working on public health-related issues using survey data to explore inequalities in the clustering of multiple lifestyle factors.
Francesca holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Robert F Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University. She previously worked as a research fellow at Royal Holloway University of London where she conducted research on the impact of decentralisation and incentives in the NHS.
Francesca is currently on maternity leave.
