Donna Willis

Donna has now left the Fund.

Donna joined The King's Fund in May 2009 having worked as an Associate since July 2008. She is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and a Coaching Psychologist whose experience spans all sectors of health and social care, investment banking, transport and the creative industries.

She holds British Psychological Society (BPS) levels A and B in occupational testing and holds current licences in many psychometric tools (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator I and II, Realise 2, Firo Element B, Orpheus and Belbin). She is a BPS trained appreciative inquiry practitioner and has undertaken research and delivered interventions exploring both culture and engagement.

As a psychologist, her interests are in wellbeing, organisational development and creating healthy cultures. Her research experience is both quantitative (exploring engagement in clinical psychologists) and qualitative (using interpretative phenomenological analysis to explore attrition).

Donna is the Programme Director for our Emerging clinical leaders programme and for our collective leadership work. She also works with organisations to design and deliver leadership development interventions for senior health and social care leaders, taking account of complexity and change. She has 13 years experience as a coaching psychologist and action learning facilitator. In March 2014 she became an elected Committee Member of the BPS Special Group in Coaching Psychology (SGCP).
