Alison is an Associate of The King’s Fund. She has 20 years' experience of working in the NHS, initially as a physiotherapist, then in a number of roles in Health Authorities, PCTs and Acute Trusts, and in Public Health. She became a Director of Artesian, an organisational health consultancy, eight years ago. She has experience of designing and facilitating cultural change, leadership development and team development programmes, and of coaching senior executives. She is particularly interested in team performance, and is currently working with a number of NHS Executive teams, helping them to think through how they can most effectively work together as they lead their organisations. She has experience of working in a broad range of organisations as a facilitator and coach: as well as NHS clients, current and recent clients include McKinsey and Co, EY, The European Investment Bank, Bombardier Aerospace, Swarovski, Tearfund and Oxfam.
Alison has an MA in Geography from Cambridge University and an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is a Member of the Faculty of Public Health and is a qualified MBTI practitioner.
