The King’s Fund’s Corporate Partnerships team has grown over the past three years, generating nearly 30 per cent extra income in 2016 compared to 2014. With the launch of a third membership programme in 2017, the team requires an enthusiastic and capable assistant to support the team in continuing to drive this growth to support the vision of The King’s Fund.

This is an ideal role for those looking to develop skills and experience across both corporate partnerships and events.

Working as part of the Corporate Partnerships team you will:

  • Support the planning, marketing and delivery of jointly-held events with the Fund’s corporate partners and supporters and as part of the Digital health SME programme.
  • Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Account Manager in ensuring high standards of relationship management are maintained with existing partner companies.
  • Assist the development of the Corporate Partnership team’s business development plan, through the identification and research of potential new partner companies as well as the undertaking of other administrative tasks as required.

You’ll have excellent organisation skills, and ideally experience of working in an events, corporate partnerships or sales team, in a paid or voluntary capacity.

The role will include working at occasional early morning and evening events.

Salaries

Salary grade

The grading of each post is determined by a job evaluation system. Each of the eight main grades has a salary range comprising a series of incremental spine points. On appointment staff are assigned to one of these spine points, taking account of previous experience.

Salary review

On 1st January each year an adjustment is applied to all salary spine points to reflect changes in the cost of living.

Employees move on 1st January each year to the next spine point on their grade, unless: a) they have been the subject of a disciplinary warning; b) they are already on the maximum spine point of their grade; or c) they took up their post on or after the preceding 1st October.

Salary payment

Salary is paid on 23rd of each month or the previous Friday if the 23rd falls at the weekend /bank holiday.

Annual leave

27 days per year, plus 3 days off for the closure of the premises between Christmas and New Year.
