Search the library database
Our catalogue contains more than 80,000 bibliographic records. These include all publications from The King's Fund, relevant Department of Health policy documents, strategic planning documents, WHO-Euro publications, informally published literature from health and social care organisations, and articles from more than 200 journals and newsletters.

Visit our central London information centre
Anyone is welcome to visit our new information centre in central London, where our team of expert librarians is on hand to advise and assist you in your search for information.
If you would like, we are happy to give introductory tours to help you make the most effective use of our resources. Tours are held by appointment only for individuals or groups and last 20 minutes. Please contact us to arrange your tour.
Request a literature search
If you are unable to visit our library, we can carry out literature searches of our catalogue on your behalf, free of charge. The search results, containing the bibliographic details of up to 40 references, will be posted or emailed to you.
If you would like to request a search, please complete our Ask an expert form or phone us on 020 7307 2568. Please refer to our tips which will help you frame your question. We are unable to carry out literature searches for full-time students.
We can also search other databases for health and social care management related information. For this detailed expert search, fees begin at £200. Please contact us for more details.
Order our Current Awareness Service
Our Current Awareness Service provides in-depth information on a wide range of fast-moving policy issues. You can post it on your intranet, print it, or email it to staff in your organisation for just £110 a year.

The Information & Library Service manages four of the NHS Evidence Specialist Collections; commissioning, health management, patient and public involvement and innovation and improvement.
Use our reading lists
We have produced a series of reading lists on topics that are popular with our visitors and enquirers. Each contains a selected list of references held by The King's Fund library.
Information centre opening hours
Our information centre is open between 9.30am–5.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and between 11.00am–5.30pm on Wednesday.
