Web feeds and how to use them
Web feeds use a technology called RSS, which is short for Really Simple Syndication. They are a quick and easy way to receive the latest news and information from a website. In common with many other websites, we show where web feeds are available on our site by displaying an orange web feed button.
To view web feeds you need software called a feed reader (sometimes known as a news reader or aggregator). Feed readers can either be accessed through the internet or downloaded to your computer, and many feed readers are available free of charge.
There are various ways to subscribe to a web feed, depending on the type of feed reader you are using. A common way of adding a new feed to your feed reader is by clicking on the orange web feed button and copying the web address of the feed into your feed reader.
