In this article, The King's Fund's Director of Policy, Anna Dixon, and Senior Fellow, Tammy Boyce, join Barbara Fasolo of the London School of Economics and Elena Reutskaja of the University of Navarra's IESE Business School, to investigates how the public understand comparative quality information as presented on NHS Choices, the Department of Health website in England. The authors use several focus groups to watch how users identify with the information presented and provide guidelines on changing the presentation with the aim to improve its use.
