Aims of the EHE Network

The King's Fund launched this Network following the expressed wish of many EHE team members - both from London and the national extension of the programme in England - to continue their relationship with us after completing their projects.

The Network aims to bring about systemic improvements in the quality of the healing environment across the health care system by:

  • continuing to champion the values of the EHE programme
  • building capacity (personal and collective) of EHE team members
  • supporting and developing individuals so that they can lead service change and shape future health care policy as well as practice.

We believe that EHE team members have great potential to improve the healing environment and positively influence the way that care is provided. We hope that the Network will enable you to bring about sustained and real improvements in the quality of healing environments across the health care system.

The Network aims to assist you to maximise your potential and the skills you have gained through the EHE programme. We will provide personal and professional development programmes, as well as a forum in which you can share knowledge and ideas and formulate a co-ordinated approach to the challenge of improving the health care environment.
