Completed EHE projects

A main focus of the redesigned space is a large mosaic waterfall, which was created by over 35 service users.

New seating areas were created in a discharge lounge to improve patient privacy and comfort.

Commissioned artworks have helped create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere in the accident and emergency department.

The main mortuary viewing area has been redesigned and now has a dedicated waiting area, which also provides a space for the local Registrar.

Entrance to both viewing areas is now through private gardens and each provides a waiting room, with tea/coffee making facilities.

The existing seclusion facilites were overhauled to provide a more therapeutic area.

Light, colour and artwork donated by local people helped transform a busy corridor.

A photographic exhibition and a commissioned floor design reflect the character and community of two hospitals.

The entrance to the Evelyn Centre was widened to create a welcoming and comfortable space.
