Aims and outcomes
The Mercers Ward care group is made up of patients undergoing oncology and haematology treatment, and the ward had been partially divided to create side rooms.
The aim of the project was to improve the ward environment with an interior design scheme for the walls, ceiling and floor, and to install purpose-built storage and desk units for staff. The team wanted to reduce clutter and create a sense of order and space within a narrow and cramped area.
