Aims and outcomes
The refurbishment project was part of a wider modernisation programme for accident and emergency and was intended to support change management at reception.
Artwork was introduced into the main waiting area and paediatric area, and the family room, psychiatric assessment room and bereavement room were redesigned. A new young adults' room was also created within the paediatric area.
