Aims and outcomes

The aim of the project was to create a more functional and attractive entrance area for two rehabilitation wards. The existing entrance area was cluttered with kitchen trolleys and offered no seating for patients and visitors.

A new comfortable seating area was created and a more suitable storage space for kitchen equipment was found. Staff were involved in creating a stained glass artwork for the entrance area to provide colour and a focal point for the design.
