Main corridors at Central Middlesex and Northwick Park hospitals
Aims and outcomes
The project team wanted to redesign the main corridors in two of the trust's hospitals and to involve people from the local community in the design process.
At Central Middlesex Hospital the team sought to capture the character and spirit of the hospital in a photographic exhibition that could be transferred to new hospitals in the future.
At Northwick Park, the team aimed to reflect the character and ethnic diversity of the hospital and its community in a commissioned floor design which reflects the everyday journeys made by hospital staff.
