Aims and outcomes
As the site is overlooked by several wards and is next to the main 'road' through the hospital, the garden redevelopment would bring benefit to a large number of patients, visitors and staff. The design includes a water feature and some ‘resting’ posts for the elderly as an alternative to the more traditional seating provided. Planting has been chosen to provide interest throughout the year.
