The King’s Fund aims to support parliamentarians by providing independent analysis of health and social care policy. We work with MPs and peers from all the main parties by providing briefings for debates, holding events, giving evidence to parliamentary committees and working with the Associate Parliamentary Health Group and other all party parliamentary groups.

Other parliamentary work
In Autumn 2010, The King's Fund and the Associate Parliamentary Health Group jointly hosted two events for parliamentarians covering the main issues facing the health service in the context of changes proposed by the government's NHS White Paper.
Health policy priorities for parliament, published alongside the events, features short essays from leading figures in health care on key areas such as commissioning, NHS finances and quality. Authors include Chris Ham, The King's Fund Chief Executive and John Appleby, the Fund's Chief Economist.
