Parliamentary activities

The King's Fund aims to be a resource to parliamentarians at Westminster and the devolved institutions, by providing impartial analysis on health and social care developments in the United Kingdom. We aim to develop good working relationships with parliamentarians from all parties.

The King’s Fund’s independence means we are uniquely placed to provide an objective perspective on government health policies and those of Opposition parties, as well as brokering debate on key issues affecting the health service and patients.

If you would like further information on our work in parliament, please contact our Media and Public Affairs team.

Consultation responses

Our experts regularly submit evidence to parliamentary committees investigating health-related issues.

Briefings

We closely monitor legislation affecting the health service and produce briefings on parliamentary bills, consultations and key issues in the health sector.

Party conferences

The King's Fund will have a major presence at the political party conferences in 2008, holding joint fringe events and evening receptions at the Liberal Democrat, Labour and Conservative party conferences.
